What are some natural soap replacements?

any natural replacements for soap? iv heard of salt, but what else?
for washing your body…

Depends on what you are using it for. You can use baking soda or lemon juice for laundry, egg white for shampoo.

Salt, baking soda are both good choices.

Both are kind of abrasive, though.

Go with natural soaps that aren’t detergents. Detergents are what are on the store shelves. You have to go to a natural store or order soap online. The stuff in the stores is similar to car wash solvents and laundry detergents. Those products aren’t soaps.

first and foremost, never use soap on your skin as many soaps contain lanolin or mineral oil which is very harmful to the skin. Soap acts as a barrier due to the mineral or lanolin that is in them and doesn’t let your skin breathe. It doesn’t allow the bad to get out or the good to get in. It’s like placing saran wrap over your skin. you can google rendering plants and see where lanolin comes from. Mineral oil is nothing more than crude oil refined. You can also google that. I am also a consultant for Arbonne. We do not test on animals, nor do we have mineral or lanolin oil in our products. All our products are made from the purest and rawest of herbs and botannicals. You can e-mail me at debicreek47@sbcglobal.net if you have further questions or go to http://www.arbonne.com to see what we have. If you go on the website, it allows you to search for a consultant near you, but if you like, I would be more than happy to serve you and answer any questions you may have concerning skin care.
