I order my soy candle supplies from a company called CandleWealth, They are based in Cali., I not sure if you can just walk up and buy supplies if you are not a member.

The Soy wax 100% natural, and they sell cotton wicks, no lead! Here is the address, I think they have a few locations in california. Maybe one is close by?

First I smell the soap. (I like light, simple smells.) Then I look at the ingredients. I don't like using lots of chemicals on my body. So I like to ingredient list to be no more than 8 things, and all things that I can pronounce.

If your wife is just starting to make candles, she could order from a supplier on line and get a whole kit. Or if she is a candle maker and is experienced and needs a lot of everything, it is best to go on line and search for the best buy out there. I found that the wholesalers have some really good sales and that is when I stock up. If she is beginning, a kit is best.Good luck!

I don’t have any preference in regards to color or shape.

I’m much more interested in the ingredients, the scent, and the soap’s usefulness.

Many stores sell them like Michael’s, Joan’s, Hobby Lobby, Wal-mart, Target

I think the flameless candles are a great idea, not just for the oxygen but for kids that may be around, and people knocking them over.

Just do a google search for flameless candles.
