how does the Febreze Flameless Candle work?

i’m in love with the flameless candle from Febreze, i’m just really curious as to how it lets out the scent? there is no warmth or anything when i feel it’s base? how does it activate the scent?

The "flame" is worthless. It’s just a flickering light to simulate a candle. The scented papers are just that, scented papers. Sorta like those christmas trees for the car. Whether they are actually sitting on the base or not is indifferent.

howwww…….?

do flameless candles work?

The Original Flameless Candle uses an electric simmer pot and
your favorite scented granulated candle wax. The gentle heat will
release subtle aroma for hours. Safer and more convenient than
stovetop method. Great for office, home, dorm room, etc.; anyplace
where one would not want to have an exposed flame.

And flickering candle ideas for a tiki hut out there?

I give up maybe someone out there has an idea I can use. I have 7 lanterns in a tiki hut, the opening under the bottom of each individual lantern has a hole of 1 and 1/2" diameter, they measure 3" tall. I would like to put flickering lights in each one, I know there are flickering candles, tea lights, battery operated (I don’t want to have to turn each one off and on each time pain in the neck) and there are tapered candles (wont fit in lantens) I have also looked up solar lights to much wiring. There are flameless candle pool lights with timers built in but they are to tall and wide. There are also candles with built in solar panels built right in these wont’ work they cannot charge because the lanterns are hung up inside the dark tiki hut roof……..Any ideas would be appreciated. What would be nice is to have these flameless pool candles but very small……

try a different varieties of Christmas lighting, seem easy enough to jimmyrig all kinds

Candles that fit 2 oz shot glass for wedding favors?

I’m doing shot glasses as my wedding favors and would like to add candles inside to add some elegance. We’re planning to do a 12×12 mirror with the centerpiece of flowers in the middle and shot glasses with candles surrounding it.

Ideally, we want the flameless tea lights but they don’t really fit in the 2 oz shot glasses.

We tried the regular tea lights which fit in the top, but stop about 1/3 of the way down when the glass gets too narrow. My suggestion there was to add colored sand to fill the gap in the bottom, then just sit the tea lights on top of the sand.

We would like to find smaller candles or tea lights that fit snug inside a 2 oz shot glass.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I think you’re going to run into trouble with this. Tea lights are a standard size and, as far as I know, they don’t sell mini tea lights. Have you gotten the shot glasses yet? One option would be to get a 3 oz shot glass (a couple links below). These do hold tea lights.

The other option would be to simply get paraffin and wicks and fill them yourselves, but then you wouldn’t have a flameless candle. But I honestly think they’ll look a bit strange sitting on top of the shot glasses.

Can I put Frebeze Flameless Luminaries in a room with 2 parakeets?

Hi! I have 2 parakeets in my room, and I like the Flameless Luminaries. I know birds cannot be near candles, perfume, or hairspray, but do flameless luminaries count because they are scented? If you don’t know what they are, here: http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/hpc/detail-page/p_luminary.jpg
and this link has some details about it: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=220804&catid=63435&aid=337953&aparam=febreze_home_collection_&CAWELAID=363782103
Thanks! i think they are pretty and was wondering if they were ok!
Really? I am not talking about spray here. Well ok! I won’t put it!

febreeze is a bird killer –

Many homes harbor seemingly benign substances that can be dangerous to birds – sometimes even fatal. Here’s a list of eight common household items that can cause problems for your pet.

Vapors from oils in scented candles, potpourri and incense are all toxic to birds. Never keep them in a room where your pet spends any time.

Tobacco is harmful to your health – and your bird’s. Cigar and cigarette smoke as well as pipe tobacco are all dangerous. Even traces of nicotine on your hands or clothes can cause dermatitis and foot problems if the bird comes in contact with it.

Non-stick coatings on pots and pans – such as Silverstone and Teflon – are highly toxic to birds if they overheat. Even a non-stick ironing board cover can cause problems if it scorches. The best rule is to keep all non-stick products out of the house.

Houseplants. Philodendron, daffodil and iris bulbs, holly berries, oleander are all toxic.
