Candle making supplies?
Does anybody know of any websites that sell candle making supplies at reasonable (fairly cheap) prices?? I really want to start this hobby, but I don’t know the costs of the things I would need. Does anybody know of any stores where I can buy the supplies in North Alabama or Tennessee?

Or, do you have a Michaels or Hobby Lobby close by? They should have some (or all) of the supplies you need.

I have been making candles at home for 15 years. My 2 favorite sites are yaley.com and genwax.com, both in California. If you want to buy wax it’s best to find a place close to you, as wax is heavy and it is shipped by weight. Look around on the Internet and you should be able to find some suppliers in your area. Yaley sells a starter kit for around $100, which is a good kit for starting with the hobby. I started by using empty yogurt cups, cotton sting, and canning wax from the grocery store. Every year I buy a few molds, scents, and other supplies – now I have an entire closet full of candle making supplies. I love it – good luck and have fun!

I have a great list of candle making suppliers listed on my newly opened candle making blog. There is a good one from Tennessee on the list, they have good wax and scents. Come check the list for more suppliers too!
