Candle making supplies?
Does anybody know of any websites that sell candle making supplies at reasonable (fairly cheap) prices?? I really want to start this hobby, but I don’t know the costs of the things I would need. Does anybody know of any stores where I can buy the supplies in North Alabama or Tennessee?
Check this site:

Or, do you have a Michaels or Hobby Lobby close by? They should have some (or all) of the supplies you need.
I want to make my own handmade soap. Anyone experienced and willing to share how to’s??
I am scared to hanlde the lye. I am also kind of clutzy. And I do have little ones in the house. But I do want to make that soap!! Please someone tell me all about it. And where do I get lye anyway??
I make soap and bath salts quite often.
Go to a craft store and buy the blocks of soap. Not Dial or anything like that, but actual glycerine soap. It comes in different colors. Then pick out a mold that you would like to use for your soap.. this is also sold at the craft store. And lastly, pick out fragrance oils that you like.
Cut up the glycerine soap block into small chunks and put in a pot and heat until it has liquified. Add your fragrance oils to create a scent that you like. You can mix different colored soaps to create a unique color of your own.
When you’ve got the perfect color and scent, pour the liquified soap into your mold. Let it cool and then you’re done!
A really unique soap I make is a watermelon slice. I have a mold that looks like half of a cylindrical object. I heat greeen soap first and coat the mold in a thick layer. Then I heat up red soap and fill up the rest of the mold with it. When it has dried, I slice it into little watermelon slices. I always wrap my soaps in plastic wrap to keep the scent fresh.
If you want to make bath salts, just take 2 parts epsom salts and 1 part table salt and mix them together in a bowl. Add food coloring or dye to create your desired color and then add fragrance oils to create a scent. Then let it dry and put in a decorative jar.
Hope you enjoy!

What is your favorite organic or natural soap store online?
I love Soaptopia! — http://soaptopia.com/soaps
They have all natural soap with some organic ingredients and most products are vegan. They have lots of delicious flavors including unscented Plain Jane soap. And even though they are full of natural fragrances and essential oils they are not overwhelming. I like the citrus ones the best. The soaps all have fun names and a neat combination of ingredients. And they are beautiful!
I never used to get into fancy soaps, but since I started using these my skin feels so much better – never dry. And starting the day with natural soap and incredible delicious smells just makes everything a little better.
I also love giving Soaptopia for gifts because it is something anyone can use and they can feel pampered and happy. And even though it is a little pricey to buy for everyday, it is not very expensive for a gift.

Can anyone tell me where I can find bowling floating candles? ?
A friend of mine is doing a bowling themed wedding, and wants to put floating candles in the center pieces. We thought Bowling Balls, or Bowling Pins would be cute, but can’t find anything. Does any one have any solid tips where we can find something like this?
Here are some links:
